Amber Alert lifted after siblings found safe
03:06 AM CDT on Saturday, August 16, 2008
LIBERTY, Texas -- An Amber Alert issued for two brothers who had been missing since Tuesday, was lifted Friday afternoon, after the pair was found in Beaumont. The boys' mother, who does not have custody of the boys, was also arrested, said police.
Teandre Lee and Torris Andre Lee have not been seen since Tuesday.
Torris Andre Lee, 6, and Teandre Lee, 4, were supposed to be under a protective order that prevented their mother from even visiting them because of “past violence against the boys,” said the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, which issued the Amber Alery.
The sheriff's office said they believed the boys were with their 27-year-old mother Kesha Victorian.
The boys as well as their mother, returned to Liberty County late Friday night.
