Boil water notice lifted in San Marcos
01:14 PM CDT on Friday, August 15, 2008
The City of San Marcos has lifted a boil water notice.
It was put into effect Wednesday night through noon Friday after a major water main break interrupted water service to about a quarter of the community.
Lab tests of water samples from the affected area came back clear.
San Marcos utility crews continue repairs on the 12-inch water main located near Willow Creek and the east frontage road of I-35.
