Austin police are investigating the deadly shooting of a teenager.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, a police officer heard a gunshot near Rundberg Lane and North Lamar.

Moments later a man flagged down the officer in the same area, saying his friend had been shot and killed.

The victim is a Hispanic male in his late teens.
