Two died and three were injured after a two vehicle collision in Williamson County Friday evening, according to the Department of Public Safety.

The accident happened near Florence on State Highway 195.

DPS officials said Rodney Morris, 21, and Samantha Chafey, 18, died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Officers said Morris was travelling northbound when he crossed over the median hitting a dodge van head on.

The driver and his two passengers were injured but are in stable condition at Scott and White Hospital - Temple.

DPS said the investigation is on going.
