Parker’s own Nastia Liukin, winner of the all-around gold medal in gymnastics at the Beijing Olympics, is scheduled to return to Texas on Thursday afternoon.
According to officials at the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy, the Plano gym where Liukin trains, she and her parents will arrive at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on United Airlines Flight 478 from San Francisco.
That flight is scheduled to arrive at D/FW at 4:13 p.m. Thursday.
WOGA gymnasts and their families plan to meet the Liukins at the airport.
WOGA will also host a private reception for Liukin Friday evening. And a parade is planned in Parker at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
